ESYLA (Eastern Shore Youth Lacrosse Association) Program
The ESYLA program is an optional/add-on recreational lacrosse league that we offer in addition to our Falcon in-house recreational lacrosse program. We will play other ESYLA member boys programs from across the Eastern Shore of MD and DE.
We play our boys' ESYLA games on weekend mornings. We will have home and away games so travel is required to participate. Our in-house lacrosse program game schedule will not conflict with our ESYLA game schedule. We will have boys' teams at the 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U divisions.
All actively participating in-house recreational boys’ players are eligible to participate on a team we submit into ESYLA as long as we have an available opening on a team. We reserve the right to cap the number of players per team that we submit to the ESYLA league to improve the playing experience for those who complete the Falcon ESYLA registration process early.
All players participating in ESYLA league play are required, for insurance purposes, to become a member of US Lacrosse. The cost for a USA Lacrosse membership is $35. USA Lacrosse is the governing body of the sport and this is an ESYLA league rule.
The number of teams and games per division could vary depending on interest level and the teams that the other clubs are able to field. It’s fair to say that each team we submit should get 6 to 8 games during the season with the potential for more. ESYLA league games start at the end of March/early April and finish up before Memorial Day weekend.
